Our History

We started out as M&B Custom Computers, a small, home-based business with two partners.  We soon realized that there was a real need for a store front business where customers could take their computers, and receive quality services.  We partnered with a third invidual and opened then as Digital Bytes, LLC in Lyndora.  After over two years of successful computer operations there, we lost our customer parking for a secondary business, Bits 'n Bytes Internet Cafe.  Unfortunately, without parking, no cafe or food service business can possibly survive.  So, we resigned from Digital Bytes, and opened another store front as Digital Technologies, LLC - still in Lyndora.

As Digital Technologies, we thrived but we continued to have problems with limited parking - only two or three spaces in front, but customers had to compete for parking with an adjacent tavern as well as people car pooling who would simply park all day and ride to work with another driver.  At the end of that three year lease, we moved to our current location, the Greater Butler Mart.  As the old saying goes, "Location, location, location!" and that couldn't be more true.  While we hated to break ties with a fantastic landlord, Joe Markiw, it had proven to be the best business decision that we've made.  We are now in our third year at 140 Greater Butler Mart, and though our shop is small, it's efficient and there is ample parking and a covered sidewalk, typical of most shopping plazas.

We have now been in business as of today, for a combined total of 17 YEARS.  We love our customers, AND our work as every computer can present a new issue or problem to solve ... meaning, we're never bored.
